Twitch sensation Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has sparked speculation about a potential return to the Poker scene, marking over a year since his last recorded game. Ninja’s last public outing playing poker took part in “Hustler Casino Live: Stream #185” on May 1st, 2022. Ninja played alongside a mix of Professional Poker players and Content creators. Some of the guests included: MrBeast, Tom Dwan, Phil Hellmuth and Chess streamer Alexandra Botez.
The Special night at HCL featured a No Limit Hold’em game with stakes set at $200/$400. Alexandra Botez emerged as the top performer, securing a profit of $456,900. While Ninja ended the night with a more then respectful profit of $144,300.
On February 7th, 2024, Ninja took to X (formally Twitter) expressing sentiments about a year passing since his last game of Poker. In his post, he announced, “It’s been a year since I last played Poker. I think it’s time we do something sweet in that space again.”
Ninja’s tweet further ignited curiosity as he encouraged followers to tag their favorite poker players and creators. The mention of a possible cash game in Las Vegas added fuel to the anticipation, leaving fans eagerly awaiting Ninja’s next move in returning to poker.
It seems pretty conclusive that a return to poker is more off a when as opposed to an if. Ninja has hinted his return to playing Poker will be in Las Vegas. We would expect the event to most likely be Live streamed.
For now at least Hustler Casino Live is ruled out which is hosted in California. As is Poker at The Lodge which is held in Texas. That didn’t stop Doug Polk however from Responding to Ninja’s Post. Perhaps he will be looking to take part in the event? The most likely candidate to host the event would be The World Poker Tour “WPT” their YouTube channel has showcased a number of High Stakes cash games over the previous months.
Ninja’s contemplation of a return to poker, hinted at through a reflective tweet, has set the stage for a potential resurgence in the gaming icon’s poker career. The juxtaposition of his successful past performance and the intrigue surrounding a future cash game in Las Vegas has captivated the imagination of fans, leaving them eager to witness Ninja’s next move in the world of high-stakes poker.
