Olivia Boeree, also known as “Liv”, is a British science communicator, television presenter, model, host of the Win-Win Podcast, and a former professional poker player. Hailing from Kent, England, she was born on July 18th, 1984, and presently calls London her home. Liv has accumulated over $3.8 million in earnings from live tournaments. Her triumphs include clinching an EPT championship and securing a coveted WSOP bracelet, solidifying her status as one of the most accomplished female players in the game’s history.

Following her education at Ashford School, Liv went on to achieve a First-Class Honors degree in Physics & Astrophysics from the University of Manchester. Boeree has amassed total earnings exceeding $3.8 million from live tournaments. With notable wins such as prestigious titles including an EPT championship and a coveted WSOP bracelet. 

She first competed in February 2007, at the $10,000 Grand Opening Freeroll Tournament in London. Boeree clinched 8th place, earning a cash prize of $400.

In May 2017, she clinched her first WSOP bracelet with Russian poker player and boyfriend Igor Kurganov at the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Tag Team Championship Event during the 48th WSOP in Las Vegas. Boeree secured the top spot and pocketed $136,982. 

Her most recent participation was in July 2022 at the 53rd WSOP in Las Vegas. She competed in a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Event, achieving a respectable 60th place and cashing for $8,843.
