Darren is an avid poker player who has made several appearances on Hustler Casino Live. He is introduced in the shows, as HCL co-founder Nick Vertucci’s childhood best friend. However, Darren is currently down -$103K on HCL at the time of writing.

Darren first appeared in Episode 23 in September 2021. He played $5/5/10 No Limit Hold ’em game with buy-ins ranging from $1,500 to $3,000. It was designated as the lowest stakes game of that week. He faced off against well-known opponents such as Mariano, Cowboy John, Bear Jew, and others. Darren got off to a great start, winning $2.8K on his first night.

He returned after a week in Episode 28 in September 2021. Darren took part in another $5/5/10 No Limit Hold’em game. Unfortunately, when the game ended, he had lost $525 after playing with Marle, Israeli Ron, R88ster, and other players.

After making his live show debut in September 2021, Darren made several cashes from it. He earned $10K from Episode 165 in April 2021, which was his best HCL payout to date. Darren joined Colleen, DGAF, Aaron Kweskin, and others in another $10/20 No Limit Hold ’em game.

Along with his significant wins, Darren also suffered some financial losses. He lost -$17.8K during the 460th Episode – Max Pain Monday in June 2023. Darren took part in another $10/20/40 No Limit Hold ‘em game alongside Nate Hill, Sia The Bot, Ash Kardash, and others. This was both his most recent appearance and his biggest setback on the show at the time of writing. He has yet to return since this episode.
