The hand occurred during a Friday night’s High Stakes stream at Hustler Casino Live. It was live-streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel on May 17th, 2024. The hand was played between Mariano & King Henry with the blinds being $50/$100/$100.
George ($21,875) in the +1 got things underway with a raise to $500 with K
10. His raise was immediately met with aggression from Henry ($167,600) in the cut-off, who chucked out a 3-bet to $2,000 from the cut-off with A

. After a couple of folds, Mariano ($218,875) heated the action further, by throwing out a 4-bet to $7,000 after looking down at Q
J.
The action was now back on George. Clearly, in a dicey mood, he put out a further $6,500 with his mediocre holdings. Knowing just how aggressive his opponent is, Henry had no qualms in 5-betting the action to $27,000 with Big Slick. Mariano made the call, this led to George getting the rest of his stack in the middle. Three to the flop, albeit George would have to observe the rest of the action.
A More Than Favorable Flop for Mariano
Mariano had by far the best of the flop 910Q having picked up top pair and an up and down straight draw. George, the “All in” player, had middle pair, whilst Henry only had two over cards and a gutshot. The flop went check, check, and off to the turn they went.
First to act after the 4 had been turned over, Mariano led out with a just over quarter pot bet of $20,000. Even with a price of 5-1 Henry did not make the call, presuming some of his outs could be poison.
Mariano & George elected to run the river twice, there was no lucky escape for George though, allowing Mariano to take down the huge $95k pot.
