and raised it up to $2,400 from a $109,050 stack. Next to act was Andy who was another straddler in the +2. He announced “im playing blind” (not looking at your hand) and made the call for $1,600 more leaving $183,875 behind. Two players to the flop with $5,250 in the middle.

Pepe at this stage was getting confirmation from Stacks as to whether he had looked at his cards. “I haven’t looked, you know I haven’t looked”. Pepe looked bemused by the situation and didn’t quite know what to do. After some table talk, he put out a bet of $3,000. “$3,000 huh” said Andy “now I have to look” Stacks looked down at A9and made the call. To the turn they went with $11,250 in play.
The Turn was the 9giving Andy trip nines! First to act, once again Pepe led out, this time with a bet of $5,500. Andy had no intention of slow-playing his trips and raised it up to $14,000. Pepe made the call, and the pot now stood at an incredible $39,250.
The river was a non eventful K4no help for Pepe’s Kings. First to act Pepe was in clear discomfort not knowing what to do? after a minute or so, and apologising to the table for the time it was taking Pepe did lead out once more. The bet was $17,000 a rather looking defensive bet, that would also gain value from a pair of jacks or fives. It was quite obvious to Andy by now that he had the best hand as he threw in a raise to $60,000. Pepe snapped called, and received the bad news. $159,250 was the amount that was shipped over to Stacks.
