Thirsty Thursday Loosens up the Action Between DGAF & Vertucci
Nick Vertucci known for playing a relatively tight game definitely loosened up during this Thirsty Thursday stream at Hustler Casino Live. It was live streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel on the 8th February 2024. The hand was played between Billy “DGAF” & Nick Vertucci with the blinds being $10/$20/$40 + a $20 BB Ante.
The Pot was beefed up from Ken ($6,170) in the +1 who raised it up to $200 with 9

. This was met by a call from Nick ($6,610) in the +2 with KQ
. San Man ($7,380) on the button joined the pot with 43, followed by a call from Nikos ($4,050) in the small blind who had been dealt A7. Last to act was DGAF ($9,490) in the third blind who also cold called with A
2. Five players went to the flop with $1,040 in the middle.
Vertucci Takes the Lead with a Flopped Queen
The flop came down 86Q giving Vertucci top pair, Billy had picked up a heart flush draw, whilst Ken had an up and down straight draw. The action was checked around to Ken who put out a bet of $600. Vertucci made the call and the players left to act behind folded except for DGAF. He responded by raising it up to $3,600. Ken mucked his hand and the action was now on Vertucci who had a decision to make with his top pair on this wet board. Nick having played with his opponent a lot over the years knows he can be up against several different hands including a number of draws. Taking this into account he raised forcing Billy all in. The raise was called and the pot stood at $20,460. both players agreed to run it twice.
Nick Managed to hold the first run out when the Q, 2 were turned over. As for the second run out, that also went in the favor of Nick 8, K.
