Let’s take a look at this insane hand that was played at Hustler Casino Live. The action was live-streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel on April 2nd, 2024. The hand was played between Luda Chris, Nick Vertucci, and David. With the blinds being $25/$50 with every player paying a $25 ante into the pot.

After several limps in front, Luda Chris ($42,500) was up to his old tricks again. He chucked out a large raise of $600 from the high-jack, having been dealt just 104.

Next to act was Nick Vertucci ($23,375), who had limped into the hand from under the gun with pocket Jacks JJ. This is where the slow playing ended for Nick, as he put out a worthy 3-bet of $2,600. In the mood to gamble, David ($42,975) called the large bet, clearly not concerned by being sandwiched between Nick and Luda. Last to act, Chris made the call, and off to the flop the three went, with $7,925 in the middle.

Everyone Had a Piece of the Flop

The flop came down 6210 which made Luda top pair, where as David had picked up a spade flush draw. first to act you would have to feel that Nick was most likely happy with his over pair of Jacks. The lead-out over bet of $10,000 from Nick was an unusual one, that was not commonplace to his play-style.

With the action now on David, he asked Nick “How much do you have left behind?”. His next play was to raise it up to $26,000. After a lot of thought, Luda surprisingly made the call with just a pair of Tens, with no kicker to boot. With only around $10k left, Nick moved all in, and to the turn they went, there was now over $80k in the pot, and both Luda and David had around $14k left in front .

As soon as the Q landed on the Turn, David immediately moved all in, an amateurish sign from a player after they catch well. Picking up on this Luda responded “Oh Fuck”, he still made the call, however.

It’s always good to see reactions from players, especially when they are joyous. On this occasion though, Luda’s reaction inflamed Nick’s dismay at the hands he was up against. When the 10 landed on the river, Luda Jumped out of his chair, Smacked his hands together, and exhaled “Let’s fucking go” as he scooped the huge $108k pot.
