Henri Puustinen, also recognized by his online alias “Buttonclickr,” hails from Finland and has made a mark as a professional poker player. Bursting onto the high-stakes poker scene in his early 20s, he demonstrated remarkable skills and quickly gained recognition. Henri’s talents were also showcased in the prestigious high-stakes cash game show, Hustler Casino Live. However, he had a harsh debut losing nearly $400K in a colossal pot.
In October 2021, at the young age of 21, Puustinen ventured to Las Vegas. He participated in the prestigious World Series of Poker, marking his debut at this annual poker event. Puustinen displayed remarkable talent, securing a commendable third-place finish in the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up Championship Event, earning $87,787, and impressively, this was only his second live cash.
The Finnish poker professional faced Jason Koon a true poker legend, who ultimately won the event and seized a hefty $244,000.
Earlier in the same year, Buttonclickr took on a different role. He provided support to Doug Polk during the widely publicized heads-up challenge against the esteemed Daniel Negreanu. Thanks in part to Puustinen’s contributions, subsequently, Polk claimed the victory. He raked in a substantial $1.2 million over the course of 25,000 hands against the GGPoker ambassador, Negreanu.
Just a month following his impressive debut at the WSOP, he took part in the well-known cash game show, Hustler Casino Live. Regrettably, this occasion did not unfold as smoothly as he might have hoped.
Puustinen found himself deep in the action, having committed nearly $400,000. He lost it all in a single devastating hand against the HCL regular, Nik Airball. This brutal hand saw Puustinen holding a top set on the flop, only to be crushed by Airball’s unbeatable nut straight. The best hand on the flop ultimately won, resulting in a $872,000 pot.
This fateful hand left Puustinen with no option but to exit the game early with a six-figure deficit totaling $367,700. At that moment, this became the largest pot ever recorded in the history of HCL. You can watch how the hand played out below:
