Felix “xQc” Lengyel is a French Canadian content creator and retired professional gamer from Quebec, Canada.  As of 2023, xQc has nearly 12 million followers on TwitchTV making him one of the most watched content creators on the platform. He also appeared once on the high-stakes cash game show, Hustler Casino Live.

Felix Lengyel: Early Life

Born on November 12th, 1995, in Laval, Quebec, Canada, Felix Lengyel, widely known as xQc, is a Canadian online streaming sensation and former professional Overwatch player of Hungarian descent. His streaming journey began on Twitch after completing high school, using the alias xQcLoL. Felix gained recognition through his involvement with Overwatch, leading to a transition in his alias to xQcOW.

His professional esports career started with Overwatch, participating in smaller online tournaments and joining teams like Denial Esports. Felix represented Team Canada in the 2017 Overwatch World Cup, reaching the finals. However, his Overwatch League debut with the Dallas Fuel in 2018 was marked by controversies and suspensions, ultimately leading to his release from the team.

Transitioning to full-time streaming, Felix faced bans and controversies on Twitch but achieved remarkable viewership milestones. He joined esports organizations Sentinels and Luminosity Gaming as a content creator. Despite setbacks, Felix dominated Twitch viewership, becoming the most-watched streamer from 2020 to 2022.

In June 2023, Felix made headlines by signing a significant deal with the streaming platform Kick, valued at $100 million over two years. This deal marked one of the largest in entertainment history, drawing comparisons to high-profile sports contracts.
