Ema Zajmovic is a Bosnian-Canadian professional poker player. She has accumulated over $1.2M in live tournament earnings, with a best live cash of $102,290. During her poker career, she won Event 10 of the World Poker Tour Playground in February 2017. Ema has also appeared on High Stakes Poker.

Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ema’s family moved to Quebec after the war in 1996. She earned a degree in Public Relations from Laval University and later pursued a master’s degree in Political Communication.

Ema’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 2011 where she placed 9th in a €400 + 30 No Limit Hold’em – Turbo Bounty II at the EPT in Barcelona. She cashed $1,556.

During WPT Playground in Kahnawake in February 2017, she won $183,788. Ema placed 1st in a C$3,200 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – WPT Main Event (Event #10).

She secured her biggest live cash of $424,511 at the partypoker WPT Montreal by finishing in 2nd place. Ema entered the C$5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event #2 in October 2018.

Most recently, in July 2024, she placed 74th in a $2,200 No Limit Hold’em at The Wynn Summer Classic in Las Vegas. Ema earned $6,901.
