Andrew Neeme was born and raised in Michigan and attended Michigan State University where he graduated with a degree in Telecommunications. After college, Andrew traveled to London and got a job in music marketing. He continued to work in this position for over half a decade, and in that time he discovered online poker.

Andrew Neeme’s Early Poker Days

Andrew started playing online at micro-stakes on a site called “Bugsy’s Room” and worked his way up to $10/$20 No-Limit purely through diligent bankroll management.

When Bugsy’s Room shut down in 2009, Andrew moved to Las Vegas to become a full-time poker player, playing live cash games, which have been the primary focus of his career.

Andrew is one of a handful of pioneers for low and mid-stakes poker vlogging. By the time he released the Pilot Episode of his poker vlog on October 8th, 2016, poker had already been his primary source of income for 8 years. He quickly gained popularity for his in-depth analysis of his hands and his ability to explain complex poker concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

In an interview, he said that he felt some creativity was missing from his own daily grind and vlogging gave him the chance to express that, as well as fill a gap in the market for mid-stakes daily grind content. Andrew now has close to two hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube. He is also known for his love of travel and has filmed vlogs in poker rooms around the world, including in Australia, Macau, and Monte Carlo.

Tournament Poker Results

Due to Andrew focusing mostly on cash games, his total live tournament earnings on HendonMob are $168,531, with a best live cash of $25,000. His first win was in January 2011 at a Winter Poker Classic $100 + 20 NLHE Heads-Up Event in Las Vegas, where he cashed $2,732. Andrew’s first cash at a WSOP event came in June 2012, where he finished 46th in the $1,000 NLHE Event and cashed $6,928. In his next WSOP appearance in June 2013, he finished 32nd and cashed $7,307, once again in the $1000 NLHE Event.

In June 2016, Andrew reached the milestone of a $10k live cash. At The Wynn Summer Classic in the $500 + 50 NLHE Event, Neeme finished 5th and cashed $10,582. During the pandemic lockdown stage of online poker, Andrew cashed in 7 WSOP online events, racking up a total of $24,813.

Behind-The-Scenes Poker Career

In 2022, Andrew teamed up with fellow poker pros Doug Polk and Brad Owen to purchase a stake in ownership at The Lodge Card Club and add some of their expertise to the venue. Thanks to his efforts as well as his colleagues, The Lodge Card Club which hosts the Poker At The Lodge live stream, is becoming the first-choice place to play poker in Texas.

Conclusion

Thanks to Andrew’s diligent money management and dedication of time to learning the game, he is not only a pioneer of poker streaming but also an important part of live poker streaming production and we look forward to seeing his projects unfold!
