Aaron Katz cashed his first live poker tournament on February 24th, 2001, playing in the $5,000 + $100 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the 2001 L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles. He came in 13th place and won $7,575. Later that year, on May 14th, he played in the $10,000 Championship Event – No Limit Hold’em at the 32nd World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2001 in Las Vegas. Katz finished 22nd and earned $39,960.

In 2004, Katz had a big win on April 25th in Las Vegas at the 35th World Series of Poker. He won the $1,500 Limit Hold’em event, getting a prize of $234,940. He also did well in the $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout at the same WSOP event in Las Vegas, coming in 19th out of 240 players.

Over the years, Aaron Katz played in many live poker tournaments. His biggest win so far was on October 16th, 2023, in a $100,000 + $500 Pot Limit Omaha event called the Super High Roller Bowl PLO PokerGO Tour – PGT Super High Roller Bowl Pot Limit Omaha in Las Vegas. Katz finished 5th and took home a big prize of $304,000. This was his most recent and last time playing in a live poker tournament.
