We have all lost our cool whilst playing poker, the difference for us it is not live streamed for thousands to watch on the internet. Nick Vertucci took to X (formally twitter) to say “Luda won fair and Square. That’s poker! I only wish I lost with more class. Good hand Luda”.
The hand was played at Hustler Casino Live & was live streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel. On the 13th February 2024. The hand was played between Nick Vertucci & Luda Chris. With the blinds being $25/$50 with every player paying a $25 ante into the pot.
After a couple of limps in front Nick Vertucci ($34,975) in the +4 turned up the heat by raising it up to $500 having been dealt the Cowboys
. The forever aggressive Luda Chris ($72,175) chucked out a 3-bet to $1,700 from the high-jack with a respectable pair of Nines . This was enough to get the limpers to fold and the action was now back on Nick. The response From Vertucci was a 4-bet to $5,500 which left Luda with having to call just $3,800 to see the flop. After asking to see Nick’s stack in full and running the maths, Luda made the call. The pair went heads up to the flop with $11,225 in the middle. The flop came down
giving Luda a set of Nines. First to act Nick led out with a smallish bet of $3,000 which was met by a call from his opponent. Going to the turn the pot stood at $17,225.The turn was a complete brick when the
was revealed this time Nick’s choice of action was to check it over to his opponent who is known for his super aggressive style of play. $5,000 was the bet which was happily matched by Nick. To the river they went with $27,225 in play.just like the turn the river was another brick
, Ace-Four would have just got there but that was unlikely, then again Nick knows Luda is capable of floating flops light. The action was checked over to Luda for a second time and his response was to put Nick all in.“So that’s everything” said Nick. “I guess I call this and maybe go home? I don’t know. “And he did it fast, when he does it fast he has it. Just so you know, now you can adjust” exclaimed Vertucci. Luda responded by asking the question “what are you sweating there”. Clearly heated by the question and the situation Nick responded “What, Fuck off”.
Nick then went on to ask Luda to show one card. “If he checked the turn I might have a shot, but because he bet it I’m dead”. It seemed like Vertucci had convinced himself his Kings were no good, but the fold was just to hard to make against his aggressive opponent.
