Here we will look at a monster pot between Blank Check Ben and Alan Keating that happened during the Million Dollar buy-in game at Hustler Casino Live with spreads of $1k/$2k + $2k BB Ante.
After the UTG player opened the pot with a $5k raise, the action folded to Keating on the Button who called with 9♠️2♠️ and $737k in his stack. Next up was Ben in the Small Blind who also called with $876k in his stack and 10♠️9♣️ on the table. When the action arrived at the Big Blind, he made a 3-bet of $27k. UTG, Keating, and Ben all called and they went four ways to the flop.
The cards were dealt and the board read 7♦️6♠️8♠️. Ben flopped the nuts with the 10-high straight and Keating was on an open-ended draw for the same straight. Ben checked it to the Big Blind who bet $25k and was called by UTG. Next up was Keating who raised to $100k. After a short pause from Ben, he decided to play his hand aggressively 3-betting to $180k. This triggered folds from the Big Blind and UTG while Keating decided to stick around. He called and they went heads-up to the turn with the pot at $720k.
The board paired when the 6♥️ came on the turn and Ben went all-in for Keatings effective stack of $430k. It didn’t take Keating much time to come to the decision of folding, while Ben grabbed the monstrous $1.1 million pot before the river.
