WSOP 2024 Tournament of Champions Is Heading to Los Angeles

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced a significant update for the 2024 WSOP Tournament of Champions. Unveiling a fresh venue for the prestigious $1 million freeroll event. Organizers revealed on March 28 that this year’s ‘ToC’ will take place from May 22-24 at Commerce Casino. Situated in Los Angeles, California.

This event is slated to be part of a WSOP Circuit stop at Commerce Casino, running from May 10th to 24th, featuring 18 gold ring events. The 2024 World Series of Poker is set to commence shortly after, starting on May 28th in Las Vegas.

Commerce Casino, a renowned card room in Los Angeles and a global poker hub, will host this marquee event. “For years, the Commerce has been the home of poker in Los Angeles and one of the leading card rooms in the world,” said Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President & Executive Director of the WSOP. “We look forward to kicking off our new strategic relationship with a special WSOP Circuit finale and the Tournament of Champions bracelet event. We also look forward to qualifying more players from Los Angeles for the WSOP main event than ever before.”

How To Qualify For the Tournament Of Champions?

To be eligible for this seven-figure freeroll bracelet event, players must have achieved one of the following:

  • Won a live bracelet event at the WSOP, WSOP Europe, or WSOP Paradise in 2023
  • Secured victory in an online WSOP bracelet event (on WSOP.com clients in Michigan, Nevada/New Jersey, Ontario, Pennsylvania, or internationally on GGPoker)
  • Earned a live WSOP Circuit ring event victory during the 2023-24 season
  • Claimed victory in an online WSOP Circuit Ring event held between June 2023 and May 2024
