Super high Stakes Week 3: First hand of the Night Shows Kabrhel’s Intentions

Ok so this may not be the most entertaining of hands, but what it does showcase is that Kabrhel is most likely not going to be folding to much. Out of position in the Big Blind he could have very easily have folded his 97 to a large raise pre flop, but instead he put out a further $800 to see the flop. Santhosh for that matter, also seems to be playing a loose style, by limp calling with Q6. If nothing else this hand set the tone, for what could be a very loose game of high stakes poker.

The hand was the first of the night on Hustler Casino Live’s high stakes week 3. It was live streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel on the 27th November 2023. The hand was played between Martin Kabrhel, Santhosh Suvarna & Prince Charles. With the blinds being $100/$200 with a $200 BB Ante.

Three Players to the Flop, With Some Questionable Hands

The action began with Santhosh ($100.000) limping into the hand from the high-jack with Q6. On the button was Charles ($115,400) who set the tone by throwing out a meaty raise to $1,000 with A6. This got Bryan ($100,000) in the small blind to fold respectable suited connectors J8. Next to act was Kabrhel ($100,000) who made the call for $800 extra to see the flop with 97. Three players saw the flop, with $3,300 in the middle.

The flop came down K109 giving Martin a pair of nines, Santhosh a gutshot. Charles had nothing, other then having the pre flop initiative. First to act Martin checked, as did Santhosh, this led to Charles putting out a a $1,400 pot. The best hand was folded by Kabrhel, Santhosh however wanted to peel a card to try and hit his gutshot. Going to the turn the pot now stood at $6,100

On the turn was the Q giving Santhosh a pair of Queens on a very wet board, the action went check,check.

The river revealed the 5 once again Santhosh checked it over for a third time, this led to Charles putting out a very large bet of $6,000. It did not take Santhosh much time to fold his hand. Charles’ aggression had paid off, allowing him to take down the first hand of the evening.
