Arlie Shaban is an online poker streamer and member of PokerStars Team Online Pro. He is from Claremont, Canada. In his younger years, he attended Brock University and got a degree in Business Communications. He has been playing poker since he was a teenager and started off by having poker sessions with his friends.
Before his poker career, Arlie featured in season 2 of Big Brother Canada in 2014. Subsequently, he worked at a car rental company and then decided to make the transition into a full-time poker player. He is intensely committed to the game and even left his hometown in Canada to be totally isolated from any distractions and build his poker career.
Arlie started playing poker full-time in 2017 and started streaming in 2018. Shaban gained a lot of his fame in the online poker world for his streaming marathon on Twitch where he streamed collectively 1,000 hours over 100 days. He did this right from his very first stream and quickly got noticed in the community, most importantly by his first sponsor, Run It Up.
