Run It Twice Drama At Texas Card House

Benji & Harvey Elect to Run it Twice at Texas Card House

When the players chose to run it twice they probably figured they would be chopping it up in this classic race, Ace-King vs Queen’s. However I doubt either one of them thought about this scenario happening. The hand was played between Benji & Harvey at the Texas Card House in Dallas. It was live streamed on Texas Card House’s YouTube Channel  on the 22nd November 2023. With the blinds set at $5/$10/$25.

The pre flop action is pretty irrelevant here to be honest, all you need to know is both players got their money in pre flop, Harvey was the ever so slight favorite with the ladies QQueen of SpadesQQueen of Hearts whilst his opponent Benji had big slick AAce of HeartsKKing of Spades. The only worth while talking point in this hand is the way the boards ran out.

Do Not Adjust your TV Set, That did Just Happen Twice

The first board ran out 66 of Spades44 of Clubs55 of Hearts22 of Spades33 of Clubs meaning both players had guaranteed themselves at least a 25% of the pot return. Whoever was to win the next run would be taking the lions share, with 75% of the pot. Which stood at a respectable $19,220.

The second board 55 of Diamonds66 of Clubs77 of Clubs99 of Hearts88 of Hearts unbelievably ran out another straight, chopping the $19k pot straight down the middle between the two players. The hand had the table in shock, not quite believing what had just happened.
