Ronnie Losses The Minimum Vs Vertucci’s Aces

Check out this hand from an Thirsty Thursday stream on Hustler Casino Live. The hand was live streamed on Hustler Casino’s YouTube channel on the 18th January 2024 between Ronnie Ebanks & Nick Vertucci. With the blinds being $10/$20/$40 + a $20 BB Ante.

The hand began with OMB ($10,600) limping from the high-jack with AAce of Spades77 of Diamonds This was immediately attacked by Nick ($11,180) who raised it up to $300 on the button , having been dealt Pocket Rocket’s AAce of DiamondsAAce of Clubs. In the big blind Shrimp ($10,520) made the call with 55 of Diamonds33 of Diamonds. Next to act was Ronnie ($13,150) who had picked up a premium as well. He fired out a large 3-bet to $1,300 with pocket Queens QQueen of HeartsQQueen of Diamonds. This was enough to get OMB to fold. The action was now back on Vertucci who put out a min 4-bet to $2,600 a play that a lot of the time screams strength. Shrimp found a very easy fold, Ronnie then made the call and to the flop they went with the pot standing at $5,570.

The flop came down 77 of Clubs77 of Spades66 of Hearts a board that Ronnie had to be happy with with no Aces or King’s out there. He checked it over to the pre flop aggressor who put out a half pot bet of $2,800. Ebanks made the call and there was now $11,170 in the middle.

Sometimes You Just do not Want to Improve

The turn ironically was an absolutely terrible one for Vertucci when the AAce of Hearts was revealed. Although he had improved to a full house the Ace was definitely a scare card for Ronnie and perhaps could kill the action. Once again Ebanks checked it over, this time Nick Checked back. Not only was he hoping his opponent might presume the ace was a scare card for him, it also allowed Ronnie to catch up.

The river was the 44 of Clubs a card that changed absolutely nothing. for a third time Ronnie checked it over. “All In” was the play, Vertucci had shipped his remaining $5,780 in the middle. Ebanks could only beat a bluff and in this spot it was just to unlikely, he made the correct fold.
