Reliving Ryan Feldman’s Largest Televised Pot

Reliving Ryan Feldman’s Largest Televised Pot

Whilst surfing YouTube’s Poker archives recently I came across this hand “The Biggest Pot of his Life” featuring Hustler Casino Live creator Ryan Feldman. I knew from the title (insane runout) that it was going to be a bad one. Let’s dive in and look at Feldman’s largest played pot to date. The action occurred on No Gamble, No Future, a PokerGo production, and was uploaded to their YouTube Channel.

We join the hand after a triple straddle and a raise on the button of $8,000 from Feldman ($215k) who was holding big slick AAce of HeartsKKing of Hearts. After the blinds folded, the action was now on the short-stacked Nik Airball ($57,900). With the pot at $14,600, Airball ($57,900, 44 of Hearts44 of Diamonds) decided now was the time to try and chip up and jammed his small pocket pair all in. Next to act was Alan Keating ($1M), he wasted little time in calling with KKing of SpadesQQueen of Hearts, clearly, he had no concern over Feldman and Matthew “Hanks” Honig who were yet to act. The third and final straddler, Hanks did indeed fold, however as you would expect Feldman was going nowhere.

“I’m the Best in the World”

With $128k now in the middle, there was only one play for the HCL creator. And that was to jam all in for his remaining $215k. Knowing he was behind, but drawn in by the price ($167k to call into a $342,600 pot). Alan made the call, and just like that there was over $500k in the middle.

Airbll jokingly said “Let’s go, I’m the best in the world” as he turned over his hand. To be fair, given the price, he had got his chips in well and was a 42% favorite. Anything above 33% would be a winning play.

The players agreed to run it twice, Good luck Mr Dealer with the main and side pot things could get messy.

The first run-out was an all-low affair,55 of Spades55 of Clubs99 of Clubs was followed by the 22 of Spades and the 66 of Hearts which gave Airball the first run.

You could say the second run was a little more entertaining. Airball had all but locked up the whole of the main pot after turning a set on a board of KKing of Diamonds22 of Diamonds88 of Hearts, 44 of Spades. With just the river to come, we were now playing for the side pot between Ryan and Alan, Feldman was a huge 94% favorite to win the hand until…. the QQueen of Diamonds reared her ugly head on the river. Ouch, what a way to lose the biggest televised pot of your life. GG Keating.
