Zhen Cai is an American poker player based in Lakeworth, Florida, with over $3.8 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash came from the 50th WSOP Main Event in July 2019, where he earned $1.85 million. Cai also holds one WSOPC ring, which he earned in May 2011 at the WSOP Circuit event in New Orleans.
Zhen Cai’s poker journey began in July 2008 at the Mega Stack Series in Las Vegas. Competing in a $225 No Limit Hold’em event, he placed 39th, earning $343.
In May 2011, Cai made a breakthrough at the WSOP Circuit in New Orleans. He won the $565 No Limit Hold’em event, claiming 1st place and a gold ring along with $33,753 in prize money.
July 2019 saw Cai achieve his best live cash yet. Competing in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 50th WSOP in Las Vegas. Cai then finished in 6th place, earning an impressive $1,850,000.
