Early Life

Yuri Martins Dzivielevski, “theNERDguy”, is, a Brazilian native, started playing poker after his brother introduced it to him. He initially played at home together with his friends.

Soon after graduating from high school, Yuri discovered he had a passion for poker. Because of this, he made the decision to play professionally in order to support his family. This turned out to be a really wise decision. Since then, Yuri has developed into one of the world’s top poker players, not just in Latin America. His cumulative online poker wins exceed $14 million, which is more than any other player from South America. Dzivielevski earned $184,637 by winning the MILLIONS Online #3 6-Max High Roller: $500K Gtd earlier this year.

Yuri Dzivielevski: Poker Career

Over the past ten years, Dzivielevski has emerged as one of Brazil’s most dominant players, both in person and online. 

Dzivielevski is one of the most motivated players in the game. He has an ongoing brand ambassador arrangement with PartyPoker thanks to his performance. He has frequently been kicked out of many WSOP tournaments in a single day. His normal response is to simply re-register for whatever event is next on the schedule. Yuri Dzivielevski is the only player from his country to have won as many titles at the series. 

Dzivielevski has had success on the live felt; at the 2019 WSOP. He won Event #51: $2,500 Mixed Omaha, Seven Card Stud, earning him his first bracelet and $213,750. He had a strong performance in the Main Event that year, finishing 28th earning $261,430. In the WSOP Online $400 pot-limit Omaha version of the colossus, fondly referred to as the “PLOSSUS.” He took home his second victory and $221,557 in 2020. Dzivielevski earned the biggest payday of his career when he won the Single Day High Roller at the 2022 EPT Monte Carlo for €448,515.

Dzivielevski, who primarily competes online, has won six World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) championships, including the $265,918 2021 WCOOP-80-H: $10,300 NLH High Roller.
