Yueqi Zhu is an American professional poker player from Rowland Heights, California, with over $3.5 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $850,025 came when he finished in 10th place at the 49th WSOP in July 2018.

Yueqi Zhu’s poker career began in December 1998 at the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City, where he played a $300 No Limit Hold’em event. He finished 5th and took home $2,160.

Then, in July 2006, he competed in the $3,000 Limit Hold’em event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, securing 2nd place and earning $184,409.

Following this, in June 2010, Zhu participated in the $10,000 Omaha Hi/Lo 8 – Championship at the 41st WSOP, finishing 3rd and cashing $225,325.

In June 2018, he achieved a significant victory by winning the $1,500 Mixed Pot Limit Omaha/Hi-Lo/Big O event (Event #35) at the 49th WSOP, earning $211,781.

Later that month, he played in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event Championship (Event #65) at the same series, finishing 10th and took home $850,025.

Moreover, in June 2019, Zhu entered the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship (Event #67) at the 50th WSOP, where he placed 2nd and earned $238,420.

Most recently, in July 2024, he competed in the $25,000 Limit H.O.R.S.E. High Roller (Bracelet Event #96) at the 55th WSOP, finishing 9th and earned $65,761.
