Introduced to poker in 2010, Weiran Pu, a trader by trade, quickly saw parallels between the game and trading. Weiran Pu made his debut on April 15th, 2017, during the Asia Poker League – APL Beijing event held in Beijing, China. Competing in the ¥2,200 No Limit Hold’em #2 tournament. He finished in 6th position and garnered $1,060.

On May 20th, 2017, he secured victory in the HK$4,000 No Limit Hold’em 1 (Event #3) at the Poker King Cup event in Macau, winning the top spot prize of $7,589.

Then, on September 22nd, 2018, during the Poker King Cup Macau 2018 event in Macau, he emerged victorious in the HK$16,500 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, securing the first position reward of $187,363.

Moving forward to December 7th, 2021, during the 2021TJPT® Transnational Jubilee Poker Tour in Tianjin, China, he achieved victory in the ¥6,000 No Limit Hold’em – The Master Event, claiming the first place reward of $107,595.

Continuing his success, on April 29th, 2023, at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo event in Monaco, he participated in the €2,200 No Limit Hold’em – FPS High Roller (Event 15). His impressive performance led to a 4th position finish, earning $153,980.

Then, on June 28th, 2023, during the 54th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, United States, he participated in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em – 6-Handed event, which was Bracelet Event 65. Impressively, he clinched the top prize of $938,244.

Later, on September 21st, 2023, during the World Poker Tour (WPT) Australia event in Gold Coast, Australia, he competed in the A$19,100 No Limit Hold’em – Super High Roller (Event #10), securing a 3rd position finish and earning $133,737.

In March 2024, during the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea, he participated in multiple events.
