Vinny Vinh

Quoc Al “Vinny” Vinh is a Vietnamese American professional poker player residing in Houston, Texas. He has over $2.5 million in tournament winnings, in addition to his one WSOPC ring. His best live cash of $718,485 came from his participation in the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles in February 2004, where he placed 2nd.

Vinny Vinh: Live Tournament Participation

Vinny Vinh’s first live cash was recorded in April 2001 at The Second Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He participated in a $330 Limit Hold’em event, placed 5th, and earned $3,326.

In November 2002, he participated in the Holiday Bonus Tournament in Los Angeles. In the $330 Limit Hold’em event, he won 1st place and earned $63,355.

Moreover, in February 2004, Vinh competed in the Poker Classic in Los Angeles, participating in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship – WPT. He finished 2nd, securing his best live cash of $718,485.

In November 2004, another notable win came from his participation in the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He played the $1,100 No Limit Hold’em event, claimed 1st place and earned $102,823.

In July 2005, he participated in the 36th WSOP in Las Vegas. During the event, he played in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha tournament, placed 2nd, and cashed $282,280.

In October 2005, he competed at the WSOP Circuit in Southern Indiana, Elizabeth, in the $10,000 Championship Event No Limit Hold’em. Vinh finished 1st, earned $437,760, and secured a WSOP ring.

In June 2024 at the 55th WSOP in Las Vegas, where he finished 75th in the $400 No Limit Hold’em – COLOSSUS Bracelet Event, earning $6,780.
