Victoria Livschitz: Early Life

Livschitz, Ukraine-born, thrived in chess in Lithuania, excelling on the national team during her upbringing. Her life took a significant turn when she met her ex-husband during a chess tournament, leading to their move to the United States in 1991. Starting with humble work, her chess talent led to founding Livschitz Chess Academy, launching her entrepreneurial path. She secured a 5th-place finish in The Wynn Summer Classic’s $5,000 NLH, adding $55,861 to her growing list of accomplishments. 

September brought another series of remarkable feats as Livschitz participated in the PGT Poker Masters. She achieved 5th-place finishes in both the $10,100 and $25,200 No-Limit Hold’em events, earning $79,800 and $88,000, respectively.
