Tu Dao

Tu Dao is a Vietnamese-Candian poker player from Hamilton, Ontario, with over $249k in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $133,189 came when she won at the 50th WSOP in July 2019.

Tu Dao’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 2005 at the Bellagio Festa Al Lago IV in Las Vegas. She finished in 31st place in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,980.

Then, in August 2006, Tu entered in a $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em at the Bellagio Cup II. She finished in 25th place, taking home $18,705.

In June 2013, Tu placed 506th at the 44th WSOP in Las Vegas. She cashed $3,082 in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Millionaire Maker Event #6.

Fast forward to February 2019. At the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic in Niagara Falls, Tu earned a prize of $31,237. In this event, she engaged in a C$1,100 No Limit Hold’em and finished in 7th place.

Later that year, on June 20, Tu pocketed $52,007 at the 50th WSOP. She finished in 4th place in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Ladies Championship Event #47.

Shortly after, on July 8, 2019, Tu played in the $3,000 Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Event #77 from the same series. She finished in 1st place, winning her best live cash of $133,189.

In June 2022, Tu competed in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em – Freezeout Event #3 at the 53rd WSOP. She ended up in 95th place, earning $4,404.
