Tony Woods’ first live cash was recorded in April 2005 at the Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He participated in a $2,100 No Limit Hold’em event, placing 10th and earned $7,640.

Just a day after, Woods claimed a 14th place finish in the $3,100 No Limit Hold’em event at the same tournament, earning $7,310

The following year, in June 2006, he was at 47th place in a $1,500 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the 37th WSOP, garnering $4,513.

July 2006 saw Woods make his biggest live cash to date also at the 37th WSOP. He participated in the $5,000 Short Handed No Limit Hold’em event and finished 4th, earning $150,123.

Later that year, in September 2006, he took part in a $5,200 No Limit Hold’em event at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in Las Atlantic City. Woods finished in 12th place, taking home $15,138.

In March 2012, Woods participated in the Winnin’ o’ The Green in Los Angeles. He played at the $150 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry, finishing 158th and earning $600.
