Tony Hartmann is an American professional poker player from Minneapolis, Minnesota, with over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $147,988 came when he won at the 2007 Gold Strike World Poker Open in January 2007.
In May 1993, Tony Hartmann recorded his first live cash. He competed in the $1,500 Omaha 8 or Better event at the 24th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. He finished in 15th place and earned $3,000.
Subsequently, in January 2004, Hartmann played in the $10,000 + $200 Main Event No Limit Hold’em at the Fifth Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 6th place and earned $120,927.
In July 2006, Hartmann continued his strong performance by entering the $5,000 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. He placed 4th and received $124,362.
Following this, in January 2007, Hartmann achieved a significant milestone by winning the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship at the Gold Strike World Poker Open in Tunica. He secured 1st place and won $147,988.
Later, in March 2019, Hartmann participated in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Short Deck Event #64 at the Los Angeles Poker Classic. He finished in 2nd place and earned $76,020.
In October 2010, Hartmann competed in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Regional Championships at the WSOP Circuit in Hammond. He placed 8th and cashed $60,952.
Most recently, in September 2023, Hartmann played in the $1,110 No Limit Hold’em Main Event (Event 14) at the Mid-States Poker Tour Poker Championship in San Diego. He finished in 32nd place and receive $2,342.
