Tony Grand recorded his first live cash in October 1991, he entered the $300 Lowball event at the Oktober Pokerfest in Los Angeles, finishing in 3rd place and earning $5,616.

Then, in June 2002, he participated in the $500 + $40 Pot Limit Hold’em at the California State Poker Championship in Los Angeles, where he finished in 1st place and cashed $27,750.

Subsequently, on October 18, 2005, Grand played in the $10,000 + $200 2nd Annual Doyle Brunson North American Poker Championship No Limit Hold’em at the Bellagio Festa Al Lago IV in Las Vegas. He placed 6th and earned $96,560.
