Tony Abesamis is an American professional poker player from West Covina, California, with over $1.044 million in live tournament earnings. During his poker career, he won a ring at the WSOPC San Diego in February 2005. His best live cash of $235,390 came when he finished in 40th place at the 36th WSOP in July 2005.
Tony Abesamis’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 1999 during the Big Poker Oktober in Bell Gardens. He finished in 7th place in a $200 + 25 Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,120.
In June 2004, he played in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em during the California State Poker Championship. He finished in 2nd place and earned $66,500.
Following this, Tony joined in a $200 + 25 No Limit Hold’em at the WSOPC in San Diego in February 2005. He finished in 1st place and won $35,950.
Three months later, in May 2005, he entered in a $2,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em during the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Poker Festival in Stateline. He clinched another victory and bagged $92,895.
At the 36th WSOP in July 2005, he secured his biggest live cash of $235,390. Tony engaged in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship Event and secured 40th place.
Later in September of that year, he participated in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em during the California State Poker Championship. Tony clinched victory and won a prize of $71,870.
In September 2024, Tony competed in a ₱12,000 No Limit Hold’em – Megastack Turbo Event #26 at the Manila Megastack 19. He ended up in 19th place, earning $501.
