Tom Schneider is an American professional poker player from Phoenix, Arizona, with over $2.4 million in live tournament earnings. With a background as a certified public accountant and as a former president and chief financial officer for three Arizona-based companies, Tom has successfully blended his financial expertise with his poker skills.
During his career, he has won four WSOP bracelets and was named WSOP Player of the Year in 2007. His biggest live cash came on June 15, 2013, when he won $318,955 along with his fourth WSOP bracelet.
Tom Schneider’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 2002 at the 33rd WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 4th place in a $3,000 Pot Limit Hold’em, earning $29,600.
In March 2006, Tom entered in a $5,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the World Poker Challenge in Reno. He ended up in 3rd place, taking home $256,115.
Following this, on June 3, 2007, Tom played in a $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better at the 38th WSOP. He made 1st place finish, winning $214,347.
Then, on June 28, 2007, Tom returned to the 38th WSOP to compete in a $1,000 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better. He secured his second bracelet, winning $147,713.
Later that year, in August, Tom took part in a $9,500 + 200 No Limit Hold’em Champioship at the Legends of Poker. He ended up in 4th place, claiming $228,625.
On June 7, 2013, Tom participated in a $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. Event #15 at the 44th WSOP. He finished in 1st place, winning a prize of $258,960.
Just a few days later, on June 15, 2013, he played in a $5,000 H.O.R.S.E. from the same series. He secured his fourth bracelet, winning his best live cash of $318,955.
In June 2023, Tom competed in a $1,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball Bracelet Event #30 at the 54th WSOP. He ended up in 13th place, pocketing $7,222.
