Tom Lock’s poker live tournament career began in May 1993. He participated in $2,500 Limit Hold’em at the 24th WSOP in Las Vegas. Lock finished in 7th place and pocketed $9,312.

Fast forward to July 2005, he placed 254th in $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em World Championship Event at the 36th WSOP, cashing for $28,375.

Later that year, in October 2005, he finished 22nd in $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Event at the Doyle Brunson North American Poker Championship, earning $20,690.

His best live cash came in December 2005 at the Fourth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. Lock finished in 1st place in a $2,600 Seniors No Limit Hold’em, receiving $137,195 in prize money.

In November 2006, Lock competed in $1,080 No Limit Hold’em at the Bellagio Weekly Tournaments in Las Vegas. There, he claimed victory, taking home $22,250.

Moving forward to June 2015, he played in $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Super Seniors Event at the 46th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 5th place, earning him $56,291.

In June 2022, he finished 91st in another $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Super Seniors Event at the 53rd WSOP. There, Lock cashed for $3,157.
