Tom Coan’s first recorded live cash occurred in September 2005 at the WPT Borgata Poker Open. He placed 18th in a $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Championship, securing his best live cash to date of $34,969.

Then, in January 2007, Tom placed 42nd at the WPT Borgata Poker Open. He pocketed $14,594 in a $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em Championship.

In the following years, Tom entered in a $365 No Limit Hold’em at the WSOPC in Atlantic City. He finished in 3rd place, taking home $15,823.

Two years later, in a hard-fought battle, he secured 2nd place at the WPT World Championship in April 2014. He earned a prize of $17,795 in the $260 + 40 No Limit Hold’em Deepstack Re-Entry event.

Later in September 2015, Tom participated in Event #6, the $350 + 50 No Limit Hold’em Saturday Series Deep Stack, at the Borgata Poker Open. He finished in 3rd place, pocketing $17,416.

Moreover, Tom clinched victory at the Borgata Fall Poker Open in November 2019. He won a prize of $14,961 in a $260 + 40 No Limit Hold’em Big Wednesday Event.

In November 2024, Tom competed in a $250 No Limit Hold’em during the Road to Riches in Philadelphia. He ended up in 68th place, earning $525.
