Tobias Duthweiler, a German professional poker player, he is one of the world’s best cash players. Dudd1 is his well-known nickname. He has over $4.2 million in total live earnings and recently finished second at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Cyprus in Kyrenia, earning his biggest cash of $3,606,446.
Tobias began playing cards during his senior year of high school. Poker was everywhere a few years after Moneymaker’s victory.
He began playing online SNGs and began to win without studying. He and his friend started going to the nearest casino. It was right after high school; the smallest game was NL400, and the two of them had about $1k. It didn’t bother them; they started playing, and both had an incredible upswing.
Tobias spent nearly 5 years after high school working with children with developmental delays. It made him less concerned about poker and other minor setbacks later on. The work was extremely difficult, but he is grateful that he completed it and would not change anything.
In early June 2015, Duthweiler earned his first cash prize in a live poker tournament at the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Paradise on the Las Vegas Strip. The following year, in December 2016, he competed in his first European Poker Tour event in Prague. He finished 125th out of 889 entries and earned $3,895.
Tobias finished fourth in the main event of the Merit Poker Western Tournament in Kyrenia in January 2019, earning $100,840. That same year and month, he finished eighth at the partypoker LIVE – MILLIONS Vegas in Las Vegas, earning $100,000.
In September 2021, he finished second in the partypoker Millions North Cyprus High Roller, earning roughly $265,000. Mustafa Timur Ercan took first place, earning $377,115.
He was last seen competing in the Luxon Invitational of the Triton Poker Series, a $210,000 buy-in invitation tournament, in May 2023. He advanced to the final table with the smallest chip stack and then to the heads-up, where he was defeated by Ramin Hacyev.
He was a regular on the GGPoker platform as Ben ABC until his account was suspended in August 2020, with $180,000 deducted from his balance. The platform explained this by stating that the German was previously banned on GGPoker’s predecessor platforms due to “bum hunting,” the targeted placement at cash game tables with weak players.
Duthweiler eventually was given another chance to play on GG, Tobia Duthweiler has since earned four cash placements at the World Series of Poker Online under his real name.
Tobias Duthweiler is an outstanding poker player. With $4.2 million in live earnings, he continues to produce excellent results as a tournament participant. He began playing poker in high school and has continued to do so. He consistently performs at a high level and outperforms players. Since then, he has made significant breakthroughs and more of him will be shown soon.
