Tiffany Michelle, known as Hot Chips, is an American poker player and content creator based in Los Angeles, California. She is also a television personality, keynote speaker, presenter, and writer, with a diverse portfolio spanning poker, gaming, casino, eSports, and travel.

Michelle has live tournament earnings of over $440k, with her best live cash of $334,534 coming from a 17th-place finish at the 39th WSOP in Las Vegas in July 2008. She also holds one WSOP Circuit Gold Ring, showcasing her success in the poker world.

Tiffany Michelle: Early Life

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tiffany Michelle began her journey as a performer, excelling in theater, pageantry, and academia. She earned accolades for acting, such as Best Young Performer nominations for Alice in Wonderland and Beauty & The Beast. Tiffany won several pageant titles, including Miss Teen Santa Clarita Valley.

In college, she combined her performance skills with academia, earning national recognition in Speech & Debate while completing theater studies and transitioning to screen acting.

Between auditions, Tiffany discovered poker at Hollywood home games, where she quickly excelled at No-Limit Texas Hold’em. This natural skill led her to on-camera poker hosting jobs, including hosting and commentary roles for major poker events like the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour, and World Poker Tour.

Tiffany is a pioneering female poker player, famously finishing 17th out of 6,844 players at the 2008 WSOP Main Event. She set a record for the largest field ever defeated by a woman. She was named one of MAXIM’s Top 20 Hottest Celebrity Poker Players in 2010 and 2012. In addition to her poker career, Tiffany has built a media presence. She co-hosted CBS Sports’ Poker Night Live and provided coverage of the 2021 WSOP. She won a WSOP gold ring in 2022 and has appeared on The Amazing Race and other TV shows.

Tiffany Michelle recorded her first live cash in August 2006. She finished 21st in the $550 NLH event at the 2006 Legends of Poker in Los Angeles, earning $1,285.

Her best live cash came in July 2008 when she placed 17th in the $10,000 World Championship NLH event. There at the WSOP in Las Vegas, she won $334,534.

In September 2008, she finished 46th in the $10,000 NLH WPT Event at the Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City, earning $15,000.

In November 2010, Michelle placed 7th in the $1,650 NLH Main Event. She won $19,927 at the HPT Mount Pleasant Championship Open.

She earned her first WSOP Circuit gold ring in October 2022 by winning the $400 NLH event at the WSOPC Nevada in Lake Tahoe, taking home $11,602.

In December 2023, Michelle finished 4th in the $225 NLH Winners Wonderland event at the Lucky Lady Winter Kickoff in Gardena, earning $13,250.

In her most recent appearance, in November 2024, Michelle placed 15th in the $330 NLH Women’s Event (#12) at the NAPT in Las Vegas, winning $880.
