Thomas Patzner’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2006 at the Gold Strike World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 14th place in a $1,500 + 70 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $3,393.

Following this, in April 2006, Thomas entered in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic. He finished in 1st place, winning his best live cash of $60,295 to date.

Then, in June 2007, Thomas played in a $500 + 40 No Limit Hold’em at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II. He ended up in 4th place, taking home $17,563.

A year later, in June 2008, Thomas joined in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Short Handed at the 39th WSOP in Las Vegas. He made 24th place finish, pocketing $11,135.
