Theo Jørgensen: Early Life

Theo Jørgensen was born on May 3rd, 1972, in Roskilde, Denmark. Growing up in a loving home with his parents and sister, he developed a passion for soccer. However, as he reached adulthood, he found himself unsure of his path, with little interest in poker and almost no experience in the game. Theo started college in Copenhagen, where he studied Business with dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. The early days of college were challenging, as he needed to work to cover his tuition and living expenses. During this time, he took on various temporary jobs, quickly gaining a diverse range of experiences.

Eventually, he landed a better-paying, permanent position at a local casino. Theo excelled and earned a prestigious role as a dealer at the poker tables. Although he enjoyed dealing, he realized that he wanted to play poker himself rather than just facilitate the game for others. After several years of hard work, he saved enough money to play regularly. By then, Theo had developed a deep understanding of poker, having dealt thousands of hands and observed the game closely.
