Terry Tang began his journey in poker with his debut tournament on September 28th, 2016, at the International Poker Open in Changsha, China. Playing the ¥5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, he secured39th position, taking home $1,874.

Expanding his venture, on November 10th, 2016, Terry participated in the HK$15,000 No Limit Hold’em event (Event #12) at the 2016 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) in Macau. He finished in 5th place and won $21,547.

His skills in the game improved further when, on April 3rd, 2017, he entered the HK$42,400 No Limit Hold’em PokerStars Championship Main Event #21 during the PokerStars Championship Macau in Macau. Terry Tang emerged as the runner-up, securing an impressive prize of $331,644.

The journey continued with his participation in the HK$100,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event during the 2017 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) in Macau on October 23rd, 2017. Despite not clinching the top position, Terry displayed consistency by finishing 11th and winning $60,422.

Terry Tang’s notable achievements extended into the following years. On May 11th, 2023, he triumphed in the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Single Day High Roller event (Event 20) at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, securing a prize of $50,900.

His success continued to soar as he claimed victory in the $2,200 No Limit Hold’em Mini High Roller event (Event #34) during the World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia Championship on January 27th, 2024, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Outshining his competitors, Terry Tang walked away with $77,023.

Nevertheless, his streak encountered a minor setback when he competed in the KRW 40,000,000 No Limit Hold’em WPT Super High Roller event (Event #2) during the World Poker Tour (WPT) Korea in Jeju, South Korea, his latest participation on March 25th, 2024. Despite his best efforts, Terry settled for 5th place, earning $72,039.
