Taylor Caby is an American former professional poker player who co-founded CardRunners in 2005 and EstablishTheRun in 2018. He made his name online as a high stakes cash player. He used his degree in Finance that he got from Chicago University to start up the poker training site Caby was one of the first stars to rise out of the online poker world where he became infamous under the screen name, “Green Plastic.” He has also participated several times on Poker After Dark.

Caby was born on August 20th, 1983, in Chicago. He is a professional poker player who started playing poker at the age of 14. Alongside Andrew Wiggins, he co-founded CardRunners in 2005, a site that played a major role in shaping the poker training industry. At its peak, CardRunners had around 10,000 subscribers and was generating millions in revenue. 

In 2008, Lee Jones from PokerStars joined as COO, and CardRunners struck a deal with Full Tilt Poker. The company was thriving with substantial subscriber revenue and high-profile deals for top players like Taylor Caby, Cole South, and Brian Hastings. However, the landscape of poker instruction has evolved significantly since then, with changes driven by “Black Friday,” the rise of Twitch and YouTube, and the growth of private coaching.

He then accrued his best live cash on February 19th, 2009 in PAD Season 5 Episode 4. Taylor Caby was seated with David Benefield, and others. They played another $200/400 +$800BBA ($100 ANTE) No Limit Hold ’em game where he won $24,100.

Caby’s most recent appearance was on February 20th, 2009, during PAD Season 5 Episode 5. He competed in a $200/400 +$800BBA ($100 ANTE) No Limit Hold ’em game against Doyle Brunson, and others. He ended the night up $5,400.

Caby recorded his first live cash in September 2004. He participated in a WPT  $ 6,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em Final Day at the 2004 Ultimatebet.com Poker Classic, Palm Beach. He finished in 140th place and pocketed $7,000.

In December 2009, Caby achieved his best live cash at theFull Tilt Poker Million VIII, Sky Sports. He took part in a $ 20,000 Final, where Caby finished in 7th place and departed with $50,000 winnings.

His most recent live tournament participation was in October 2010. He competed in Heat 6 at the FullTiltPoker.com Poker Million IX, Sky Sports. Simon finished in 5th place.
