Steven Brackesy’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 2004 at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He finished in 3rd place in a $1,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $40,060.

In March 2005, Steven played in a $200 + 40 No Limit Hold’em Multi-Play Shootout at the New England Poker Classic. He finished in 1st place and won $48,996.
