Steve Rassi’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2004 during the Mirage Poker Showdown in Las Vegas. He finished in 6th place in a $2,000 + 80 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $16,771.

In December 2004, Steve played in a $15,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship at the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He finished in 5th place and secured his biggest live cash of $217,812.

Following this, Steve joined in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 36th WSOP in June 2005. He finished in 8th place and took home $63,895.

Later in August of that year, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the WSOPC in Tunica. Steve finished in 5th place and earned $102,030.
