Steve Flicker’s poker career began with his first live cash in November 1987. He participated in a $1,000 Lowball event at the 3rd Annual Diamond Jim Brady in Los Angeles. Steve placed 13th and cashed for $1,000.

Subsequently, in May 1994, he competed in a $1,500 Limit Ace to Five Draw event at the 25th WSOP in Las Vegas. He placed 2nd and earned $46,500.

Following this, in February 1998, he entered the $1,500 + 70 World Championship of Lowball at the L.A Poker Classic in Los Angeles. Steve finished in 1st place and won $58,600, his best live cash to date.
