Steve “Cuz” Buckner

Steve Buckner, also known as “Cuz”, is an American professional poker player from Coral Springs, Florida. He has earned over $1.8 million from live poker tournaments and secured his first WSOPC ring in July 2022. Notably, his best live cash of $690,000 came when he finished as the runner-up in the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic in October 2022. He has also appeared on No Gamble No Future.

Steve debuted in NGNF Season 2 Episode 8 on April 19th, 2023. He participated in a $25/50 + $50BBA ($100) No Limit Hold ’em with Kevin Martin, Justin Young, Sashimi, and others. He ended the night down $27,750.

Steve Buckner: Live Tournament Participation

Buckner’s first live cash was recorded in June 2005. He participated in a $2,500 Short Handed No Limit Hold’em event at the 36th WSOP in Las Vegas. He placed 31st and earned $6,930.

In July 2022, he secured his first ring at the WSOPC in Oklahoma. He competed in a $400 No Limit Hold’em Mammoth Stack event, taking home a grand prize of $25,363.

He achieved his best live cash in October 2022 by competing in a $10,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em Event at the WPT Legends of Poker in Los Angeles. Buckner placed 2nd and cashed for 690,000.

His most recent live tournament participation was in July 2024. He took part in a $1,700 No Limit Hold’em at the WSOPC in Oklahoma. Buckner ended up in 50th place and took home $5,424.
