Stephen Song is an American professional poker player born in New York and currently residing in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has accumulated over $6.5 million in live tournament earnings, with his highest single cash totaling $712,650. Stephen secured his first WSOP bracelet during the 50th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and also holds six WSOP Circuit rings, all earned through live tournament victories.

Additionally, his victory at the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas in December 2022 earned him the 2022 GPI Player of the Year award.

Song first appeared in a recorded live tournament in October 2016. He entered the October Poker Weekend in Verona. He finished 1st place in a $500 + $70 No Limit Hold’em event, earning $32,957.

During the 50th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in June 2019, Stephen secured 1st place in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event. He collected a grand prize of $341,854 and received his first WSOP Bracelet.

Continuing his success, Stephen won in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood on August 13th, 2019. He took home $285,243.

Moreover, on August 28th, 2019, Song finished 1st in a €2,200 No Limit Hold’em event at the European Poker Tour in Barcelona. He cashed for $185,230.

In June 2022, Stephen placed 2nd in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em – 6-Handed event at the 53rd World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, earning $476,990.

Playing in a $970 + $130 No Limit Hold’em, Stephen won the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas in December 2022. He walked away with a whopping $712,650, achieving his best single cash to date.

His most recent participation was in July 2024. Song participated in a $10,000 + $100 No Limit Hold’em at the ARIA High Roller Series in Las Vegas. He placed 2nd adding $111,300 to his earnings.
