Stefan Schillhabel

Stefan Schillhabel is a German poker player known as baeks22. Born on March 3rd, 1998. Schillhabel has won more than 10 million US dollars in live tournaments. Stefan’s best live cash was $2,400,000. Notably, he holds the 12th position in the Germany All-Time Money List. He won the World Poker Tour Main Event in March 2016 and a bracelet at the World Series of Poker Online in August 2022.

Stefan Schillhabel: Early Life

Schillhabel completed his sociology studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2014. In July 2018, he co-founded No Limit Gaming, an esports team alongside notable poker players such as  Fedor Holz and Steffen Sontheimer. Since then, he has assumed the role of managing director for the GmbH, steering the team towards success. The project’s primary objective is to leverage the triumphs and insights gained from the world of poker and apply them strategically to the dynamic realm of esports.

Stefan Schillhabel: Poker Career

Schillhabel made his debut in Barcelona, Spain, 11 years ago. On August 30th, 2013, he participated in the European Poker Tour, securing the 51st rank and earning $775. Moving on to June 25th, 2014, he achieved his first-ever 1st place victory in the $600 No Limit Hold’em at Deepstack Extravaganza in Las Vegas, walking away with $21,047.

March 7th, 2016 marked another milestone when he clinched a remarkable 1st place finish in the $7,500 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship in San Jose, bagging a hefty cash prize of $1,298,000. Just 8 months later in the United Kingdom, he entered in £550 No Limit Hold’em The Deepstack at the World Poker Tour, securing a win and adding $61,902 to his earnings. A month after that, on December 8th, 2016, he once again claimed the 1st spot in €10,300 No Limit Hold’em at the European Poker Tour, taking home $266,158.

Continuing to make waves, he joined the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em – Bellagio High Roller at the World Poker Tour – WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas on December 9th, 2017 and pocketed $356,250. 

The pinnacle of Schillhabel’s career occurred on August 14th, 2022, when he triumphed in the $500 No Limit Hold’em Housewarming Online during the World Series of Poker at GGPoker. Securing first place, he added $296,410 to his increasing poker earnings.

Stefan Schillhabel’s most recent appearance at the poker table was on July 14th, 2023, in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship at the 54th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Schillhabel finished in 59th place, cashing in for $18,853.
