Shawn Daniels is an American professional poker player from Placerville, California. He has accumulated over $2.8 million in total live earnings, with his largest single cash being $777,777. Daniels earned his first WSOP bracelet in July 2023 at the 54th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
Additionally, he has won two WSOP Circuit rings: the first at the WSOP Circuit Online in September 2018 and the second at the WSOP Circuit Online Season Finale in June 2020.
Shawn Daniels first first appeared in a recorded live tournament at the Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City in September 2011. He competed in a $500 + $60 No Limit Hold’em event. He finished in 20th place and earned $1,293.
During the 2012 Fall Pot of Gold in Reno in September, Daniels won in a $300 + $40 No Limit Hold’em $100,000 GTD. He took home a cash prize of $24,121.
Continuing his win streak, Shawn secured first place in a $400 No Limit Hold’em – Double Stack at the DeepStack Extravaganza I in Las Vegas in February 2019. He collected a cash prize of $41,017.
Shawn triumphed at the DeepStack Extravaganza in Las Vegas in November 2020. He participated in a $690 + $110 No Limit Hold’em – UltimateStack event. His first-place finish earned him $125,160.

In July 2023, Daniels earned his first WSOP bracelet by winning in a $777 No Limit Hold’em – Lucky 7’s – 7-Handed event at the 54th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He won his biggest live cash of $777,777.
More recently, Daniels participated in a $777 No Limit Hold’em – Lucky 7’s – 7-Handed event at the 55th WSOP in Las Vegas in July 2024. He cashed for $5,290.
Daniels won in a $525 Buy-In Main Event at the WSOP Circuit Online in September 2018. He secured his first WSOP Circuit ring and took home a grand prize of $83,545
Following his achievement in 2018, Shawn achieved another WSOPC ring at the WSOP Circuit Online Season Finale in June 2020. He played in an Online Finale Circuit High Roller 6-Max event . He finished 1st place, earning $75,034 and his second WSOPC ring.
