Shah Koumi’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 1991 during the Festival Of Poker in London. He finished in 2nd place in a £100 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $6,511.

In July 2001, Shah played in a £2,000 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event during the European Poker Championships in London. He finished in 3rd place and earned $33,100.

At the British Open in London in March 2004, he earned a cash prize of $41,076. Shah participated in a £1,250 + 25 No Limit Hold’em and secured 3rd place.
