Sean Riley’s first live cash was recorded in January 2006 at the L.A. Poker Classic. He participated in $330 No Limit Hold’em event, placing 18th, and earned $2,338.

Following this, in August 2006, he finished 2nd in $390 Bounty No Limit Hold’em at the Legends of Poker, cashing for $19,260.
