Rusty Bagaygay’s first recorded live cash occurred in February 1993 at the L.A. Poker Classic. He finished in 4th place in a $500 + 30 Hold’em Shootout, cashing $5,375.

Later in April 1993, Rusty entered in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 24th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in 3rd place and earned $43,250.

In the following years, he clinched victory at the Holiday Bonus Tournament in December 1997. He won his biggest live cash of $43,440 in a $300 Limit Hold’em event.

In June 2000, Rusty played in a $500 + 40 Pot Limit Hold’em during the California State Poker Championship. He finished in 1st place and won $29,970.
